Many of you who know us, know that we think we don't have anything to share. "Why would we have a blog?!?" Our lives are really boring. As moms, wives and quilters we're not doing anything different than anyone else. Raising our kids, living with aliens (husbands) and cutting fabric into little pieces and sewing it back together again. But friends say that we do. "You two are always up to no good, you definitely have something to say." That's what we hear from those who know us best.
Sure, when we're together we tend to get into a little trouble, like at the supermarket, yelling across the aisles (well if Barbara hadn't wandered off then Mary wouldn't have had to yell to find out what kind of oatmeal she wanted), it was a good thing Mary knocked over the display of canned soup or Barbara might never have found her. Maybe it was when we were having a quick lunch at the mall while shopping for..... oh, wait, we weren't shopping, we were working hard designing beautiful quilts. Maybe people think we are up to no good because we make each other laugh so hard we can't stand up straight and it usually doesn't matter where we are. We're sure we are in our own bubble and no one can see or hear us anyway. Listen, Barb wiping out in the middle of Macy's is funny. In her defense those purple kitten heels were really slippery on that newly waxed floor and we were sprinting, sure we were late for something. But we live 300 miles away from each other, so how much trouble can we get into?
Guess we'll see. Our goal is to post something here at least once a week. We still can't imagine that's gonna happen. We promise to do our best.
